Staying at Miyajima Morinoyado was a memorable family getaway for us. The spacious room fit our needs perfectly, especially with the futon beds for our two daughters. It was lovely to dress in traditional yukatas for our kaiseki-style dinners, though not every dish appealed to the kids. The hotel's proximity to the Forest Trail leading to Mount Misen was a highlight for our family hikes. We also enjoyed the serenity of the public baths-perfect after long days of exploring. The staff kindly accommodated our dietary preferences. The hotel's location is a bit removed from the main hub, but that allowed us peaceful evenings and quick trips to the nearby aquarium and shrine. A family-friendly retreat with traditional charm!
